Canada E2W Photo Submission : Rules and Regulations
  • SUBJECT: Only landscape photos of Canada will be considered for the Canada E2W initiative.
  • COPYRIGHT REGULATION: By submitting your photo you are acknowledging that it is indeed your original work. You are authorizing Canada E2W to share it (to your credit) on Social Media and in any promotional material for the Canada E2W project.
  • INFORMATION REQUIRED WITH ENTRY: With your photo submission please be sure to clearly indicate your name and city of residence, along with the location of where the photo was taken. Please see for details on how and where to submit your photos.
  • DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Photo entries will be considered until midnight, June 17th, 2017. From which point the top three photos representing each province/territory (determined at the artist Allison Robin Smith's disgression) will go to a vote for a duration of two weeks. On July 1st, 2017, the winning photographs will be announced.
  • VOTING: The contending photographs (3 options for each of the 13 provinces and territories) will be posted on the Canada E2W Facebook page. Photographers will have the opportunity to promote their work and the Canada E2W project, by sharing within their communities through social media. The photo with the most votes (likes) from each provincial/territorial category will be selected to be used as a reference for a large scale painting by Allison Robin Smith. 13 paintings in total will be created; one from each province and territory, to represent Canada, full circle.
  • SELECTED PHOTOGRAPH AWARDS: Each photographer that has had their entry selected as a reference for a painting will be featured on the Canada E2W website, Facebook page and Instagram account. The photographers will receive a free high quality giclee art print of the painting derived from their photo. Their original photo will be exhibited along side the painting in the gallery(ies), along with a personal bio and short story.
  • ALLOCATION OF PROCEEDS: Allison Robin Studios/Canada E2W will be donating 50% of the proceeds of the paintings to a local charity (TBD), but will allow 25% of said proceeds to be donated to an (approved) charity of the photographers choice. This will allow a portion of the proceeds to be distributed across the country.
  • RIGHT TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND PROJECT: If for any reason the project is not capable of running as planned, due to illness, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Allison Robin Studios/Canada E2W, that corrupt or affect the security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this project, Allison Robin Studios/Canada E2W reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Project.
