Artist Statement

In a world often cluttered with complexity and noise...

I find my creative voice in the semi-abstract landscapes and portraits that I paint. Nestled near Montreal, in Saint Lazare, Quebec, I draw upon my roots in Alberta and the beauty of both prairies and mountains for inspiration.
My journey led me to Montreal, where I earned an associates degree in Illustration and Design from Dawson College, but it's the harmony of lakes and mountains that captivates me now.

Nature is my muse, guiding my artistic practice as I respond to its colours, energies, and textures. From my barn studio, Studio Hillside, I find solace and inspiration in the ever-changing skies. Through my art, I aim to forge connections with viewers, inviting them to share in the serenity and wonder of the natural world.
